Camping Experience at Bridge Bay Campground in Yellowstone
Arriving at Bridge Bay Campground in the heart of Yellowstone National Park was like stepping into a realm of pure tranquility. Surrounded by towering trees and nestled near the pristine Yellowstone Lake, we felt a sense of anticipation and wonder as we set up our campsite.
Campsite Cleanliness
The Bridge Bay Campground is well-maintained and clean. The sites are spacious and have plenty of room for tents, RVs, and cars. The bathrooms are clean and well-stocked, and there are several trash cans located throughout the campground.
Cell Coverage
There is very little cell phone reception at Bridge Bay Campground. We were only able to get a signal on Verizon in a few spots in the campground. If you need to be able to stay connected, I recommend bringing a satellite phone or a MiFi device.
Accessibility
The Bridge Bay Campground is located right on the shores of Yellowstone Lake, making it a great option for campers who want to be close to the water. The campground is also accessible by car, and there is a shuttle that runs from the Old Faithful Visitor Center to the campground.
Yellowstone Lake Tour
We took a boat tour of Yellowstone Lake from Bridge Bay Campground. The tour was amazing, and we saw a lot of wildlife, including deers, bison, and elk. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the lake and the surrounding area.
Overall, we had a great camping experience at Bridge Bay Campground. The campground is clean, accessible, and close to the water. The only downside is the lack of cell phone reception.
